New Stuff

Check out the new gismos I have at the bottom of my blog! They're really cool if you're into food. The first one, you just type in some food that you want to cook and then you choose the ingredients that you want to use/ have and it will give you recipes, which I thought was super convenient because how often do you go through recipe after recipe and can't make any of them because you don't have all the ingredients that are needed? 
The second is just a lovely list of all the fruits and veggies that are ripe and ready during this time of year, if that's interesting to you :D

Just Around the Corner

It's almost time for school to start again after a long summer break (four months to be exact!) I feel ready as ever to begin! I've already went out and bought my pencils, paper and binders and am very excited to start learning! Who's with me!?

Hanging Out

We had a great time yesterday hanging out at Red Robin. It's not the most beautiful picture of all of us but it's the only one I have :D Didn't think so many of us would show up! So we ended up sitting in a nice looooong line :) But we still had some great laughs. That's always when you laugh the hardest, late at night. Isn't it? :D

Obsession

Lately I have been super obsessed with crocheting things. So obsessed that now I can't crochet anything because my hands hurt too much to move :( So in the mean time here's some of the stuff I've made recently.

These are two unfinished shawls that have been put on hold due to my injury. 

And these are some hats and scarves that I've made to wear int he winter time.

The teddy bear below is also one of the projects that I've finished recently.

I just finished a project that I have been working on... for about six hours :D I have had this strange obsession with crochet for a little while now and I stayed up half the night finishing this little cutie pie.

A Day at the Market

Today I had a fun time at the Saturday Market in down town Vancouver with my parents. As we were walking by we saw this lovely statue, it was holding fresh cut flowers :D Someone had placed the flowers in the open hand of the statue!
