It Goes On...

So I spent all day yesterday painting my room and there were not enough hours in the day to finish so I'm still working on it today. I'm so close to being done that it hurts! Well the hurt is from slamming my finger in the ladder and falling flat on my face on the porch yesterday... but you know! I'm just trying to cram all of summer into the short amount of time I have before I go back to school and hurting myself apparently is something that happens during the summer. Anyways, here's some pictures of the process!

YES! The school year is FINALLY over! I just took my last final and now summer break is officially under way! Too bad it's only one week long :( Well, it's something at least and plenty of time to paint my room, I'm sure. Hope you're enjoying your summer!... That is if you live in the Northern Hemisphere... 

Summer is Upon Us

I know, I know! It's not technically summer yet. I am very well aware that I am two days early, but I couldn't help it. The rainy weather made me excited for the sun that will soon not leave us for three months :) Excited for what the season has in store for us!

Annual Trip to Oaks Park

The fifth annual trip to the one and only Oaks Park has officially happened! I know it's totally late, we went a month ago, but we were having some technical difficulties with the video, etc.

Yes we had a fantastic time, and no we are not quite yet too old for the rides there. Here is us doing the wave on the Screaming Eagle (and thank you Sabir for the blood, sweat, and tears you put into getting this to work :D)

Off to the Beach!

It's been such a long time since I've been to the beach and I was dying, figuratively of course, to go. So, (a few weekends ago actually, I'm only now getting around to posting this, sorry) we took a delightful trip down to the coast where we made some ambrosial (trying to expand my vocabulary if you hadn't noticed:D) shish kabobs on a rather controversial grill, played a game of Ultimate Frisbee (with a football... so I guess it was football), went shopping, and had a superlative bonfire where we made hot dogs, s'mores, and baked potatoes! Had a very enthralling time!
